Heat Pumps For Pool Heating

Heating pool by using heat pump system is the cheapest way compared to other heating systems. Air source heat pumps are generally used for pool heating. The working principle of heating pool by air source heat pump is shortly explained below;

A fan placed in heat pump blows outside air towards evaporator. At this time, the refrigerant extract heat energy from the air and turns into gas phase while circulating in evaporator. Refrigerant in gas phase reaches high temperature and high pressure while passing through compressor. Then refrigerant transfers its energy to the pool water while passing through the condenser and refrigerant turns into the liquid phase. After passing through expansion valve refrigerant in the liquid phase reaches evaporator at low pressure and temperature and the cycle is completed.
