Wave Energy

Different heat up on the surfaces creates the wind. The wave are created as a result of these winds blow from the sea surface. Wave is a kind of energy that is obtained by using the pressure changes on the surfaces or under the surfaces waves. 70% of the globe is covered by water so the humanity can benefit from the power of water to create energy. According to the recent researches, 10% of the demand of world energy is provided by wave energy. It is estimated that the potential of wave energy is 2000 TWhour/year in the world. The capital cost of this energy is around 820 billion Euro. Although the wave energy is not in  a situation that can compete with fossil fuels, the capital cost of these systems are decreases significantly. Wave energy plants are categorized in terms of their positions. They are divided into two groups; coastline and into the sea. The plants that installed in the sea are divided into two groups as well; near and far away from the sea.
